The 16th National Scout Jamboree will be held July 25 - August 3, 2005 at Fort A.P. Hill, Virginia. The Mecklenburg County Council Jamboree contingent will consist of 4 troops each consisting of 4 adult leaders and 36 scouts.

We are still accepting youth applications.  All new applications will be placed on the Waiting List.  We know that there will be some youth who will be unable to go for various reasons.  Please include the $100 application fee to hold your place on the Waiting List.  Once the contingent troops have been constituted and there are no other openings anticipated, we will refund any money.  If you are contacted about an opening in one of the troops, we will work with the family to arrange an appropriate payment schedule

More information will be available here on the web site and downtown at the Scout Office as it is developed.
